The Planets

The majority of these images were taken using the Meade LPI which is a pretty good little camera for capturing reasonable images of the planets.

Mars

These Mars pictures were taken in October 2005 when Mars was only 43 million miles (69 million km) away. The images were taken using a Meade LPI and stacked using Registax.

Jupiter

This image of Jupiter was taken in May 2006, the Great Red Spot on the left just below the equator. Also visible are two of Jupiters moons. The image was taken using a Meade LPI and stacked using Registax.

Moon

Not exactly a planet but until I post more moon pictures up, its staying here. Taken using a Canon 350D Digital SLR.

Saturn

Taken using the Meade LPI imager.

Venus

Also taken using the Meade LPI imager, out of a first floor bedroom window as it was setting over the houses opposite.
